Week Three: Stay Fit January 19, 2009

Fit… yes that is a nice word… I used to walk regularly, but I lost my walking partner. Moms make great walking partners…

This week’s plan divides the week into days of cardio and strength.  I didn’t look at it until now, unfortunately, or I would have taken a longer walk before it decided to snow. Jeff and I walked to and back the apartment office (down hill from home).

Someday, we’ll have a wii and then, we’ll get a wii fit. 🙂

    I struggle with splitting exercise- I need the strength for the endurance of the cardio, but cardio is so much more effective for losing weight. Recently, I checked out The Firm from the library and have been loving it! (That says a lot right there.) It’s low impact cardio with weights and then some serious shaping in between. I’m always short on time so it’s been a great fit.

    I’ve enjoyed reading about your journey this month. Inspiring.
